A full spectrum oil produces the Entourage Effect
If you take some time to research and learn more about Cannabidiol (CBD) it won’t be long before you read about the “Entourage Effect”. In a nutshell it means the result is greater than the sum of its parts, because the cannabis plant is being used in its natural state, thus making it a full spectrum product. The alternative is extracting individual chemical compounds, (i.e. CBD isolate, a white crystalline powder). which is a method now widely believed to lessen its benefits.
When CBD oil is taken as a full spectrum product there can be five times more benefit for the recipient.
According to Israeli scientists including Raphael Mechoulam, who first coined the phrase “Entourage Effect” in 1998, cannabis has a full spectrum of over 480 different compounds including cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and alkaloids.
More recent research comparing CBD (cannabidiol) as an isolate (99% CBD ) with a full spectrum extract containing all compounds in the plant, found the full spectrum extract was significantly more beneficial than an isolate of CBD, with up to 5 X more efficacy.
When pure, synthetic THC became available (as the drug Marinol) in the mid-1980s, scientists expected it to work just as well as using the entire cannabis plant. However, they discovered that people preferred to use the whole plant instead of Marinol, as it was much more effective.
Cannabis contains more active compounds than just THC, in fact, over 100 cannabinoids have been found to work in conjunction with THC to produce the relief that is often reported by cannabis users.

The Entourage Effect is produced by the synergy of all the hundreds of beneficial compounds present in hemp, working together, to bring an effect larger than the sum of the parts. Pre-clinical research suggests 5 X the benefit from a full-spectrum oil compared to an isolate of CBD.
Full-spectrum oils produce the Entourage Effect, giving 5 X the benefit.
